Change is For GOOD

If you are thinking this post is gonna be a philosophy about how Change plays a role in our life and how it make difference in our life? You are wrong. This post is all about my new HAIRSTYLE.

I had a long hair right from the beginning when I started paying attention to my looks. Although I did had my hair trimmed to shorter lengths but I never thought of getting cropped nearly to baldness.

I thought lets give it a try and went ahead with a stone on my heart. Guess what I liked it, don;t know about others.

Soon I realized the benefits of short hair.

1. Less shampoo required to clean your hair.

2. Less oil required to apply on hair.

3. Less water required to clean hair.

4. Less time in fact no time required to set your hair.

5. Natural air conditioner and you never feel hot as you used to feel when you had long hair.

6. You feel light headed and helps you to concentrate more on your work since you don't have those long hair to ruin your concentration.

In short I realized change is for GOOD and my new hairstyle is good, no matter you like it or not.

Hello Happyness

You got it; this post is all about happYness. Well before I start with my views n thoughts let me post a dialogue from one of the must watch movie of Will Smith, "In the Pursuit of Happyness".

"It was right then that I started thinking about Thomas Jefferson, the Declaration of Independence and the part about our right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And I remember thinking: How did he know to put the pursuit part in there? That maybe happiness is something that we can only pursue. And maybe we can actually never have it, no matter what. How did he know that?"

Although the movie is a fantastic movie but what amused me the most was this dialogue. It sounds so right yet incomplete. It is right that we can only pursue happiness, but how to follow it? When we don't know where the happiness lies how can we follow it? Well, the answer lies with in us. Happiness lies with in you. It's you. No matter what the situation is, no matter what you are going through yet you can be happy.

I fell one can always be happy if he/she wants to be happy. I don't need any reason to be happy. I do agree I am a self-obsessed guy and I find no harm in it. Whenever I am in a bad mood I just close my eyes and imagine myself smiling, laughing and enjoying myself. It refreshes me so much, it gives me immense energy and pleasure.

Have you ever found yourself in a situation where a stranger's smile brings a smile on to your face? Yes a genuine smile can make you happy, little moments and things can make you happy, for that matter even a stranger can make you happy.

As the VEDAS says, Answers to all the questions in this universe lies with in you. So go ahead and find the answer to your happiness and pursue it.

Oh! Do remember to say my hello when you meet your happiness.

My Thoughts on Some Commonly Used Proverbs.

We all have heard of proverbs and we all are aware of what they mean. In this post I would try to share my thoughts on some of these proverbs that we all must be aware of. These are just my views and meant no offense again anyone.

So sit back and enjoy it.

A man is known by the company he keeps OR as my colleagues says, A man is known by the company he OWNS.

Don't judge a book by it's cover. Read the price and the author first and it could be pirated too.

All that glitters is not gold. It could be Diamond or may be Platinum too.

All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. And no work and all play makes Jack a black boy.

Appearances are deceptive. Do you want to say the beautiful girl I met last night was not beautiful and she was not a girl?

Boys will be boys. Now what you want us to be? A sissy? Excuse me please.

Charity begins at home. At least my dad does not thinks so. He thinks free service starts from home.

Dead men tell no tales. No what you expect from a Dead Man? Sing n dance for you? Please Let his Soul Rest In Peace.

Great minds think alike. If that is true then why the hell we have so many theories? Please tell my teacher about the same.

Great talkers are little doers. I don't agree. Last time I messed up with my school bully, he said words I never understood, he was talking like some revolutionist leader . That is not all, he did lot more than I imagined in fact anybody would have imagined. I still got marks and I still remember those kicks.
Look after number one. Who would look after other numbers? It's inequality, we would do strike against it. *Next day Kerala calls strike for the same*

Never mix your liquor. Have you not heard of cocktails? Sheeshhhh. It's more fun.

To err is human, to forgive divine. So, remember to forgive and follow the path of divine and let me make mistakes and live as a normal human.

Vande Mataram

"At the stroke of the midnight hour, when the world sleeps, India will awake to life and freedom. A moment comes, which comes but rarely in history, when we step out from the old to the new...India discovers herself again."
 Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru
(on Indian Independence Day, 1947)

August 15th, 1947: India creates a history. An Independent democratic country is born with a vision to make big in Global world and prove its potential by respecting every person's right, respecting peace, spreading love and to serve the humanity.

This year India completes 61 years of independence and we have come a long way since the day one. We have progressed a lot and have proved our worth in the global front too. Yet, we have long way to go.

India has time and again proved her worth in every field be those sports, entertainment, science and technology, literature, defense, spirituality and many more.

WE still have long way to go and we still need to progress more. We have the 2nd largest population in the world yet we are growing strong in terms of education, infrastructure and economy and in other aspects too. We have almost 75% of population under the age of 35, which is a good sign for progress.

Each country has some or the other shortcomings, so do India have. It's up to us (the citizens of India) to make sure that we still follow the path of peace and respect each other's right. Lets not forget "Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Isahi, Hum Sab Hai Bhai Bhai". No matter which religion, region or caste you are from, we all are one and we respect each other. It's up to us to make the difference. It's up to us to help our society and bring smile on every face in the world.

On this occasion of our independence lets remember the sacrifice made by our Jawans. Lets realize how worthy our independence and how many have laid their lives so that we can enjoy our independence.

I am an INDIAN and I am proud to be an INDIAN.
