Finding Peace In Solitude

Solitude means total privacy and isolation from others. To be in solitude means to be alone and in silence.

We are living in a phase where we have no time for each other. All are busy in their own life but for whom?

Youngsters working hard day and night for money, for success, to survive. Each one of us is pushing our own limits to make the loose ends meet.

Seeing her husband working hard and still not able to meet all expenses, she starts working too (either part time or full time). Together they work to give better future to their kids, working hard for the happiness of their kids. But are they giving time and love their kids need?

Each one of us are busy in their own life either to fulfill the dreams of their parents, kids, wife/husband, girlfriend/boyfriend or of them self. Yet, are we living for our self?

We all are living the life of others, hence we forget to live our own life. Its not that when you live life of other person they live the double life. They too are living life of someone else. The greed for more has made us forget to enjoy what we have now and by the time we regret it gets too late.

My question to all of you is what is the purpose of your life? Have you ever lived for your self? Ask your heart, to yourself and most of you get an answer as NO or I don't know.

Even I never lived for myself but I am trying. In this busy life even if you get no time for others, spend at least few hours with yourself. Be clear with your thoughts and try to find peace in you.

Until and unless you are at peace how can you offer peace to others? The smile on others face begins from your own eyes. Until you see that smile how can you feel it?

Solitude is not wrong and isolation is never bad. Picture gets clear when you are calm. An unrest river shows a shaky reflection of yours; only a river when calm can show you a clear picture.
